F¥<<\^g abs

Hi iv had a MY98 impreza 4 about 4 years an the abs has never worked the light is not on but if you press the pedal a few times hard you can feel a slight chattering in the pedal iv replaced the sensor but still no abs it's driving me mad now has any1 got any ideas?

If the pedal is vibrating then doesnt that mean its working? Mine slid on ice in January and the pedal was vibrating like mad when I had it to the floor!
