Hawk WRX - Brembo offset
Hi everyone.
I ran into a spot of bother today with my mew Brembo STi brakes on my 06 WRX.
I am running OZ Ultraleggras 18x7.5 ET48.
The caliper is a good 10mm short of clearing the spokes. Question is - do I chop these 1 month Old wheels in or get some spacers?
If I go spacer - what offset is required? I'm a little green on this subject!
Would like to personally thank Dunx too for leaving work early to drop off his spare STI wheels to get me back on the road til I can find a solution!

OK - I think I am almost there with this ... !
If 18x8 with an offset of 45 are ok, and I am running 18x7.5 ET48, does this mean:
1/4" from the centre of the rim to the lip plus the difference in offset (3mm)?
If so - 10mm would be sufficient?

If the spokes come in too much, then surely I need to build the wheels out via spacers (lets assume buying new wheels is out the question 'cos I'm skint!)?
Is it a case of building out the original wheels with washers til they clear (not driving on them!!), measuring the thickness and getting that spacer?
