Brake Warning light stays on. 96 Leggy GT
Hi All,
This morning when I started the car, the brake warning light stayed on. Normally it's only on when the hand brake is on, but I don't think the leggy has a separate light for warning about the actual brakes. Just to be clear, this is the circle with what look like brackets on either side and a ! in the middle.
It's a 1996 JDM Legacy GT Estate Twin Turbo.
I've checked the fluid level in the the brake resevoir and it looks fine. The brakes seem to be working fine.
Anybody got any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Mark

I had this on my Leggy estate one morning.
It was the float/sensor in the reservoir sticking.
Take the cap off and make sure the sensor is covered and moves up and down freely.
Or is it a brake pad wear indicator also, are the pads ok?

Thanks Trogg, looks like that was exactly what it was. I took the cap off and put it back on and it seems to have solved the problem.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
