Recommend a Brake Fluid plz!

Default Recommend a Brake Fluid plz!

Was just wondering what type of brake fluid everyone else is using and best place to get it from?

Which is better dot 3, 4, 5.1 and manufacturer would you recommend?

Have just purchased the k sport 356mm front brake kit c/w ferodo ds2500 pads

Motul RBF600 is what i use, i bled and flushed the system through with cheap Halfrauds 5.1 first though.

ATE Super Blue (Or Typ200). Same fluid, but different colour so can alternate and verify all new fluid when the other colour flows fromthe bleeder. (Or just count 20 pumps to the rear, 10 to the front)

Super Blue is really good at keeping water out. It will easily last one trackday season.

Motul as above, also very good.


Castrol SRF, check!


Castrol DOT4 "Response", cheap...and does the job, but I would replace it halfway through the season.
