Will i fit 18" Alloys on my classic
hello got a facelift classic sport, i have spotted a nice set of team dynamic pro race 1.2 in 18"
i have a quiery about if they will fit not height as such because i will fit a lower profile tyre but the width,
i am currently running 7j x 17" with 205/45/17
whats the minimum width of tyre to fit an 8j x 18" (215/35/18?)
does anyone think these will fit my classic ok?
help is very much appreciated
THANKYOU VERY MUCH
Rich

Some people get away with 18's, others experience rubbing on the arches and on the suspension.
According to Prodrive, the BEST size wheel for your car is 17": it gives the best mix of handling and grip. Have you uprated the disc size? 18's will accfentuate the tiny discs................and rear drums
With 17's, the accepted tyre size is 215/40 17".
