Default Wheel Valves - Metal or Rubber?!

Recently had my wheels refurbed and they removed the metal valves from the wheels.
Yesterday I had new tyres fitted and forgot to get them to fit metal valves, had my little girl with me so got distracted and didn't check before I paid and left!so I now have the rubber valves fitted.

Now I know the metal ones look better and dont have to changed with every tyre change but I'm wondering should I leave them on until the next set of tyres or go and get them changed over.

Has anyone else got the rubber ones fitted? Have you had any problems e.g. pressure loss?
