Default ap 4 pots / 6 pots

Running ap cp5200 4 pots with 330mm discs if I got a hold of 6 pots could I use the old mounting kit and discs from my current set up

Yes, AP website states 5570 and 5200 calipers are interchangeable.

6 Piston Calipers - CP5570 Family - Suits Ø330mm Disc - 17mm Thick Pad

4 pots are more than adequate though

Many thanks for that much appreciated
172 sport ...yep they are more than adequate to be honest but nice to know if i was to upgrade it would be a case of 2 calipers instead of a full kit.

Does the 6 pot actually offer any better quality than the 4 pots? is it larger pad contact area or something?

Hmm looks like the 6 pots have almost double the Pad contact area.

Bear in mind the full kits are marketed as a "deal" and you might not save much if buying new calipers alone.
