Hi All,

Last week I my right front S02 deflated at 90mph and melted itself into oblivion. I have been very happy with, but unfortunately they are apparently no longer available.

I am very hesitant to mix and match tire types (which can result in very dodgy handing indeed), and I was wondering if anyone out there had been faced with a similar situation.

If the newer S03's are similar to the older S02's, has anyone had experience of mixing them with S02s, either in a single tire, or say S03's on one end of the car, and S02's on the other end?

Cheers,

- Charlie

I've got one spare SO-2 pp, 215/40x17, that I'll not be needing. Mail me if you're interested.

Cheers,

Richard.

CarMan, I don't have mail.

Charlie, this tyre is free to a good home, and almost new. Do you want it?

Richard

If Charlie wants it then fine otherwise I will take it please - I use that size for hill climbing with my RA. Last season ran soft slicks so no problem, but this year I will be use roads tyres so scrubbed SO2's are perfect (I have a set of SO2's that size but no spare).

Cheers

Charlie,

I have been running S03s on the front and S02s on the rear since January with no problems what so ever. Just dont mix sides.
