Type r rear brakes
I have a my99 uk face lift classic with single pot rear calipers.I have obtained a set of type r rear 2 pot calipers and discs,As the type r discs are bigger and the mounting holes for the calipers are different what is the best way of getting these to fit as i am told this is a comon upgrade.
cheers

The discs will be 290mm but if they are Type R discs then the brake drum will also be bigger for the R180 diff on the Type R's.
Again speak to Ian as it may be easier to switch to the 'UK' 290mm discs with the smaller internal diameter brake drum.

Hi
You will need the fitting kit we make , the discs on the type R does have a 190mm handbrake drum , your car has a 170mm drum , you can either fit the thicker handbrake shoes or fit rear discs off a 2001 onwards WRX.
It is a very easy bolt on kit
Cheers Ian
