feels weird

hi guys ive just fitted some new alloys to my 94 sti and they have a lower profile on them than my last ones the tyres are yokohama parada 2s the thing is the car feels to slide about when im driving and it seems to find every camber in the road is this common with yoko's or is it that im not used to the lower profile there currently at 32 psi but look like they are not inflated enough my old tyre size was 215/50/17 and the yokos are 215/45/17 please help as its causing my missus some concer i quite like it but im a bit worried if i have to slam on the anchors and end up on the wrong side of the road

hello mate a 45 profile is not that really a low profile it should not be tramlining in the road my advice to you would be to get a four wheel lazor alignment and go from there that should sort the problem out.

You should be running 215/40/17 FWIW.

I run 36f 34r on my Toyos. Yokos aren't great on damp roads so I have heard.

This is right Stu, i had the spec 2's on a couple of years ago and although they are fantastic in the dry they are crap in the wet/damp.They don't last long either
