Default problems with ds 2500 pads

hi all
got 4 pots on me scooby and had red stuff pads in them

work well

time to buy new pads and so i go for the best ds 2500 after 1 arm and 1 leg

i put them in ....

now evey time i brake the the brakes make a chik sound ,,,

looked at it after 500 miles and the pads move in the calipers up and down .so when stopping the pad travels up ever so lilttle and knonks making the chik sound ...what to do ....new red stuff or bear with it ......as the brakes do work well..........

What is a chik sound? Did you fit shims on them?

sounds like you don't have the "anti-rattle" shims fitted, the top spring is missing or maybe they simply need cleaned and greased???

Do you need shims and if so, do you sell them?

The clunk noise is because the pads dont fit as good as standards i was told today by subaru dealer tech guy. The redstuff may fit better . I have brembos and replaced mine , the front and the rear clunk only very slightly and sometimes never. The only way round it is lots of copper grease. I have endless pads on the front and ds 2500 pads on the rear . sti brembo set up.
