Default What temp do clio cup Slicks run at?

Hi all.

My first time on full slicks next weekend was after some advice. What temp range is their optimum? Do i have to forcefully put temp int he tyres ont he warm up laps or will just a build up of pace be enough to raise the temp enough to grip for some flying laps?

I was thinking of buying a tyre temp n pressure monitor for in car. Would it be advisable to get one of these to monitor and control the tyre temps or not really necessary?

Cheers
Chris

From research the Mich S9B comes alive at about 80 deg C and to start temps at around 24-26psi as they will increase up to around 31 when up to temperature.

Also i read they are even very effective in the damp negating wet tyres for when its only actually Wet. i.e. standing water.
