4 Pot Conversion on Pre 99 UK Classic - Now Wheel Issues... ?
As the title suggests, i have converted the standard 2-pots on my 98 UK Wagon to some nice new 4-pots, black diamond discs and pagid blue pads. Im now really happy with them and currently have them running nicely under my 17" VW offset Alloys.
For various reasons I want to get my old wheels back on the car though, a set of OEM 16" WRX import wheels, but not only do they foul on the caliper, they are about 10mm short of clearing them.
I am sure i have seen the 4-pot brakes under these wheels before, what have i done wrong? Do i need the actual hubs from a 99, or extended studs and use spacers? I had assumed it was a simple swap, if its too much effort i think i'll just sell the 4-pots on and go back to the 2-pots
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys
