Ive got FK452 all round on my Bugeye, 17s though. They are not too bad, although most on here will suggest you dont scrimp on tyres (which I agree with) they are probably the best (or at least up there) budget tyres.

Im not dead yet! Im not an expert on tyres but if you have different tyres with different characteristics on the front and back, it might be asking for trouble! Someone else could come on and advise further, but i remember doing a search on these tyres on this site and they didnt come off too badly!

The best bit is the XL as it means the sidewalls will be stiffened, good for a heavy Scoob.

IMHO

Unlikely, unless you get some £20 specials like I did.... brand new they had less grip in the wet than 2mm of Yokohama's finest. I couldn't even kill them on track.

HTH

I have also heard different tread patterns on the front and back can cause problems. Something to do with differential ?

Only a tiny number of drivers could "feel" the difference between one make of tyre and a similar item by a different manufacturer.

The Wanli's I bought were like concrete, on the front the car had virtually no grip in the wet, so I put the almost worn out Yoko's back on, and the car went through the winter on them.

Different sized tyres will add to the wear and tear on the centre diff.

IMHO
