Toyo Proxes4 any good?
Got 2 newish tyres on a set of 2nd hand alloys - are these any good? Should I replace the other 2 tyres with more of these or stick to my original plan of Toyo T1Rs?
PS. I might have 2 x Kumho Ecsta Supra tyres with 3mm going for free if anyone wants them? They are 225/40/18.

yeah i would have thought you would be fine for the mean time. Aslong as they have got substantial tread on them. If it was me i would use the proxes4 for the mean time and upgrade to t1r's before the winter hits hard. t1r's are class in the wet!

They've got 6+mm so should be OK for a while. The tyres are weird, they've got little cuts in the tread all over the place, I think they're known as "sipes". Supposedly gives better grip in wet/ice conditions. Check out a picture of them on the web, you'll see what I mean.
