Question

Just about to get the front disks & pads replaced on standard MY97 w. 50k. Any tips on cheap(ish) non-standard mod to go for. An idea of how much would be appreciated!

Braided brake lines and DOT 5 fluid is a good place to start, see how you get on with that. What might also be a good idea, is to change to a Group N disc and an uprated pad. I know that the Pagid disc/pad combo works very well.

I am useing the Pagid disc and pad set up and think it's very good value for money, you will notice the difference over standard brakes.

I have used a Bremsport GpN disk and Mintex 1155 pad combination for My STi5-R and WRX before that with no problems, and you can get the whole lot delivered to your door for well under £200.
