Will gold brembo's be good for track on a classic?

Default Will gold brembo's be good for track on a classic?

Hello,

Will gold brembo's from a WR1 fit under 17" rims on a classic?

Will they be good enough for track as movign from 4 pot front n slider rears?

I believe it depends on what 17" rims you have. Spacers maybe required. Im sure someone will be able to give more advise.

They are very good brakes, but the choice of wheels are limited. Godspeed or Performance Friction discs & pad for track work & the OEM sti wheels are a good combo.

Used with good discs and pads the Brembos work very well.

Performance Friction Discs and pads are superb if your budget can stretch to them.

Whether the Brembos clear your wheels will depend on what wheels they are.

Ahh good news.

Yeah some 17" may / may not. Sure i read an ebay advert somewhere saying they needed 18"s.

Standard STi wheels over the Brembos are 17".
