Warning to Sti owners with Brembo's
This is what I found after removing the front left disc to install new DBA discs. As you can see, there has been effective braking on approx. half of the disc surface. The outside surface was normal. The right hand disc was similar but not as bad!
Mileage is 32,500 6 years old.

I was never over-impressed with these brakes!
Anyone else with a similar story?

Mine have been superb, now fitted with PF up-grade, find it hard to justify the huge expense of an AP set-up as I don't do enough track work.

Common thing on most, if not all disc's, the inside face is always worse than the outer ....
When looking to purchase cars, I always look at the inner & then say, "The Disc's are shot)
The seller always say's, "No there not" & points to the outer edge
