Are they shimmed up properly, if not one side may be binding.

These calipers are designed to use a 17mm (new) thick pad, the actual pad shape is availabe in 17mm and 18mm (and 25mm for that matter) thickness from several manufacturers (Ferodo and Pagid for a start), could you have one or more 18mm pads.

Pull the pads out and measure them and the caliper gaps each side of the disc, this should spread some light on the problem.

Yes tryed 3 diff pads now, 17mm all new,
Even taken 2mm off each pad still no good,
Bled the system
I am trying to buy a new caliper but told you can only buy a disc seperate
Not very happy with this now,
can't believe may have to go back to the brembo set up after buying this kit

Is there equal spacing on either side of the disc, there is spacer washers in the kit to centre the caliper so the pads have equal contact on the disc. I never had to use them but the washers were supplied so theres a chance some cars need them

Maybe something is bent in the caliper mount. Something must be rubbing to generate the heat. Have you tried just putting it all together and rotating the wheel by hand and listening for rubbing. Only other thing I can suggest is that you discuss with bren@apex who markets this kit.

Is it tight when you rotate by hand.

Tryed rotating the 2 frt alloys
The drivers side which has the problem is alot tighter to turn,
Might it be the abs unit is knackered

Can't see the ABS having anything to do with it. Something is binding, is it ok with pads removed, are the pads hard to get in/out, are the pistons hard to push back ? seals binding. It must be there to be discovered if you can feel the tightness.

pads are as norm to remove,
pistons need a clamp to go back in,
the car will not roll on any gradient,
seals have been changed,

Sounds like one or more pistons sticking. All I can suggest is that you have them overhauled by ksport.

Whip out the pistons, and give them a vicious polishing....

Don't think so. A warped disc would knock the pads back, possibly give you a long pedal and wobbles on braking but won't cause binding.

SORTED
All sorted ,
Turned out to be the pad/caliper bolts have 2 sleeves
These are very weak and to short
Thus the caliper was bending and causing the pads to hit the disc,
This is a very cheap part,
I had to put a much thicker and longer sleeve in
The brakes are spot on now
