Default Advice on brakes

Have a 98 classic with the gold brembo upgrade ...now was looking at a second hand set of ap racing 6 pots on here now would i find a massive difference or was also thinking about a 2 piece disc upgrade for the brembos i dont do track days would the added expense be worth it??

I'm in the same boat. I think the main difference will be brake fade. You won't get it nowhere as bad on the AP's. But only on the track. If you don't track it, then the only benefit you will find is a bigger selection of wheels that fit over them.

I bet they do. So best you could do then is the 355mm discs on the AP 6pots. If your after the ones I think you are, then you'll need new discs anyway. I would imagine you won't get much change out of 400 quid for the 355mm discs.

Godspeed do track day warrantied disc & bells, I have the Performance Friction set-up on mine, can't fault them, they get even better when warmed up, I only do two track days a year, and no problems so far.
