Default Vredestein Sessanta

I remember a number of people singing the praises of Sessanta's on here, a while back.
With a bit more wear on them now, how are they performing - especially in 225/40-18 form?

Hi John

I tried them summer before last. Excellent tyre in almost every respect, the only downside being that they wore quickly. Last year I fitted the Goodyear F1 assymetrics and while they had a smidgeon more 'feel' through the wheel, they wore down even more quickly and became very crashy towards the end of their life. Both are brillaint tyres but I'm about to fit another set of summer tyres and I shall be fitting Sessantas again

I'm trying to wear out my Avon ZZ3's but they've got too much tread left at the mo. to justify new tyres, but I intend to give the Vredesteins a go.

You won't be disappointed with them I'm still on winter tyres (Michelin Alpin sport 3s - were brilliant for the cold conditions last winter) and as there's so much tread left, I'm putting on some Sessantas over the summer so I can get another winter out of the Alpins

I've had a set of these on for a while. They are excellent, and in the same size as you need JohnD. Great grip in both the wet and dry, and also look great. I will be replacing them with the same next time.
