Default Definate Tyre Size of 19s for newage!?

Hi guys, have the chance of getting some 19" Superleggera's, however they have a 235/35/19 profile, now according to Dunx, his car rubs at the rear end (from reading posts), now im not sure what offset his rims are.

Another guy on here with superleggera's confirmed he is running 235's lowered on tein springs with no issues what so ever.

Can anybody confirm? how many offsets are there available for this wheel and what tyre size will work?

44 mm offset IIRC 215 miss easily, 225 probably do to , R888's (235/35) just catch.

I have 225/40/18 R888 on ET45 rims lowered on ASTs and just get away with it at the rear. Like about 1mm side clearance. I calculate a 225/35/19 would actually be 1.5mm smaller OD than a 225/40/18 but its the width that counts here and I'd imagine this to be the same as 18s so should be OK at ET45. Biggest prob I see with 19" tyres are that they will be more expensive than the somewhat mainstream 225/40/18 size.

Later cars are wider at the rear.... wee bubble arches for the Group N rally boys.

235/35/19 will be fine I reckon on an ET48 which I think the leggars are.

Failing that 225/35/19 is closest to stock but will need a chunky tyre like the Vredestein/Goodyear to cover the rim on an 8" width.

235/35 R888's as close as you can get, and still hitting my modified wheel arches.....
