Use the alcon prodrive 4 pot and had ds3000 for 4000miles shagged the wheels big time and had the discs and pads changed to ds2000. These are ok but no where near the same bite as 3000.
No distructive dust though.
Ds2000 worn now, are 2500 ok or do they pit and wear the discs?
Any other pads avaliable worth considering?

I have not tried the 2.5k but agree, 3k when hot are absolutely fantastic. TSL have sold a bunch of DS2.5k and I have not heard a bad thing said about the pad ..apart from price of course. I'll be getting some when I need new pads.

Hi Guys
sadly nothing bits like a 3000..(0.62 COF) but the 2500's 0.5 COF comes in from colder and stays totally constant in relation to temperatureand speed (same pedal every corner of every lap! )
What is interesting is that when we went to sit in with Renault testing Clio cup cars and Single seaters back to back to 3000/2500 at Donno, it only took about 10 laps of getting used to the new brake point before the guys were getting the same lap times out of 2500's as they did last season out of 3000. By the end of the session they were quicker.
What is better is that caliper temperatures measured after each heavy run showed 2500 to run over 300 DEGREES COLDER!!!! with obvious consequences for your discs, bearings etc...
Hope that helps a bit... they won't dust up either.. great for lazy @rses like me!
Cheers
