The only pic i have of my old godspeed 335 kit, as you can see the caliper doesn't cover the whole of the brake pad but still worked fine even on track days

I now have these k-sport 8 pots which i used at brands a few weeks back and worked great, have been told that if i change the pads that are supplied with them for something like Ferodo 2500 (which i had on the godspeed kit) the k-sports will be awesome

Same sort of size (330mm (or 356 if you prefer)) but much, much better.

But I think we had the same conversation on SIDC.

I know the disc are the same but are the calipers as big.. as i'm looking to get some but won't be able too if the calipers are as big as the brembo as they will rub on my alloys...

I have the 330mm k sports they are deffinately smaller than the brembos, tried one of my wheels on a mates car with brembos and there was no chance of it fitting. I have a set of oz super turismos that go straight over and a set of speedline turinis that need 2mm spacers. both 17"

the reason i ask is cos i just got some P-WRC1 18" Et53 and i read on the prodrive site that brembo's would not fit..

"P-WRC1

The Prodrive P-WRC1 wheel is a 10 spoke design inspired by the wheel which has been used on the Subaru Impreza WRC rally car. The wheel brings rally performance and durability to the road with an impressive strength to weight ratio.

The wheel is manufactured for us by O.Z. Racing in Italy and is available as a 17 or 18 rim in either gold, anthracite or silver finish, or as an 18 rim in crystal titanium or rally gold finish for 02-04 STi models.

Applications:
17 P-WRC1 wheel 7 x 17 ET52 (PCD 5 x 100): Fits all Impreza and Legacy models except Impreza STi fitted with Brembo brakes
 18 P-WRC1 wheel 7.5 x 18 ET53 (PCD 5 x 100): Fits all Impreza models except Impreza STi fitted with Brembo brakes
 18 P-WRC1 wheel 7.5 x 18 ET46 (PCD 5 x 100): Fits all Forester and Impreza STI 02-04MY fitted with Brembo brakes

I'm confused about the part in Red!! I thought if the Et was over 48 then most alloys should fit over the brembo calipers..

The smaller the ET the more the wheel sticks out so you're looking for a smaller ET to give more brake clearance. Sadly this isn't all as the spoke shape will still foul the huge brembo caliper in some cases. Just to make it worse as you decrease the ET you are more likely to foul the wheel arches.

Brembos fitted under my WRC-1 18" OZ wheels and lurking under them out in the car park as I type this are 356mm K-sports. No fouling issues with either, no spacers required either. Without getting rather dirty I couldn't tell you what the ET is though.
