Wheel swap 18" to 17" - will I need geo setup?
As heading really, if I change from 18s to 17s will I need the geometry re-doing on the car?

Erm.... no, otherwise you couldn't fit your spare tyre without a geometry check.
Sorry, The overall size will only differ fractionally, so little effect on the car.
