Do i need new brakes? - ap racing query
ive asked this to a few people and got no definative answer.
im running
ap racing 6 pot front calipers, 330mm discs and ferodo pads.
while lowering the car recently it was noticed that the inside of the discs was getting low, as were the pads. (low as in a few k left on them)
ive done very little miles since, maybe say 200-300, but under braking the pedal seems to have a vibration through it almost like the discs are warped, its not always present, but more so at low speed rolling to traffic lights etc
it also feels like it would if say there was a rust build up on the disc from sitting parked up, although the discs are 100% rust free.
the only change was lowering the car and running a negative camber front and rear with a 1degree toe in on the front. would this have any adverse braking effects causing the pedal vibration?
im thinking its new pad and disc time, btu i just wanted to ask some opinions before I go buy

Can't see how suspension changes could cause problem. Are you really hard on your brakes (or do trackdays) which might leave pad deposits (patchy appearance on discs) which are noisy as they wear away when driving more slowly and do no harm. DS2500 are limited on temperature extremes and prone to this. Disc wear limit is 27mm (mine were 26.5 with radial heat cracks using Pagid RS42 for 15k miles) when I recently replaced mine, but they didn't make noises unless I'd done a recent track day.
Top replacement would be PF discs and Pagid RS29 pads - awesome and smooth (you'll also need 2xAP bolt kits as old bolts will be rotted). Got mine from Alyn at ASPerformance 0191 4103770, very helpful guy.
