ive got a standard rb5 and im in need off some new rubber and woundering what sort of mileage you would get out of toyo 888s cheers

I have done about 3000 miles on my set. Just about got to the wear indicator this week so need to change soon. Done one trackday and the rest going to work and back.

I think the A048s are better. 888s aren't as good on the track for me, but they are good in the wet, so long as you realise they aren't that great and adapt your driving.

Remember 888s only come with 5mm tread to start with and are very noisy. Unless you are going to go on track they are not practical for general road use. I'm just about to squeeze a fourth track day out of my set so they've only done a few hundred miles. At least on track you can wear them down till the canvas shows.
