new brakes bugeye??
Hi
My brakes on my02 wrx are a bit,er, 'grindy' for the first couple of minutes after starting off (left overnite etc). They arent noisy and seem fine and do the job once up and running. Owned the car since dec 08 and it was mot'd and services in nov 08.
R they just cold when starting out? R am i looking at new brakes?
thanks folks

More than likely its just light surface rust on them when you first start off. Mine do that as well then it clears up after a few pumps of the pedal. You will get it after washing the car too.
Nothing to worry about.

Please also becarfeul when you wash your car. Do not hose the water directly at the brake discs. This may cause the brake discs to warp easily, especially after driving when the discs are still hot.
