i asked myself the same question i have yokohama parada spec 2's...they worked fine for me there in the dry..in the wet i just took it easy full stop..didn't wanna be a hero..thing is the the ring the track surface change half way round i found and get's more tyre noise...tip for you don't over inflate your tires because they get very hot and the air expands inside balloning them as i found out when i had a nice spin there..don't spare on the tires they are mighty important

sorry i mean your car was it lasting the distance because mine was fine speed wise it was just the standard brakes were cooked and juddering like hell...alos my tires were losing grip towards the end of a lap and my suspension startd to feel a bit boaty...so going to be kitted up for next visit..

Performance Friction discs and Z rated pads - never faded, always spot on and did 3 back to back laps at one point all in the mid 8mins. I seriously cannot fault them.

Tyres - RE070's are truly perfect for this place. Just hard enough when you get the pressures right and geometry is good. Ran on the 888's too this year and initially I thought they would get very hot and go squidgy - they did but they go beyond this stage to being very hot and gripping like glue ! 80c surface temperature even across tread.

Indeed......mid 8 minute laps quite achievable with 300bhp in a newage STi with standard suspension and tyres. Love to know what can be achieved with more power

Have to agree with Ducan , the Potenza's RE070's are great track tires especially with how hard the side walls are.
I have had toyo's T1r's on track and found they need alot more air pressure put into them in order to stop them rolling over on side walls. I would say however that the toyo's are better in the wet. I guess it depends on your driving style and set up.

Thread hord : Did anyone find the 070's in 18's yet?....I know there was a few threads on this previously????
