gauge for tyre tread
does anyone know what can be used to gauge the depth of tread on a tyre...my old man seems to thinks its a coin but isnt sure which 1

Most motor accessory shops sell inexpensive tread depth gauges. (inc Halfrords). Many years ago Happy Eaters used to give away cheap plastic ones which did the job (still got mine).
