Just done the front's on my GB270 fitted the Verdestein Ultra tec setanta thingy's at a cost of £95 per tyre fitted etc.

Cant say that am that impressed yet because they do squeal like a t.at going round this roundabout I live near, which the old Pirrelli's never did and grip seems ok nothing special though

Although they are suppose to be a great tyre

Also had 4 wheel tracking carried out on it and I have found that the car no longer tram lines on the motorway now.

What mileage have you done in yours ?

For dry i recommend AD07,R888,re07,reo1r or eagle rs sports.
For wet ps2,p zero rosso,r1r,advan sports or csc2,3.

I rate the Goodyear F1 GSD 3. Had them on all 3 of my Imprezas after RE 040/ RE050/ Pirelli P Zero Rosso they came with. Better grip, especially in the wet

I am in a similar situation (just about to buy a new set of tyres).
Used reasonably sensibly, how many miles should a set last.

As I only do about 5-6 thousand miles a year don't mind offsetting some grip for wear, but do not want to them to wear out too quickly.
For example R888 are great on my westfield, but on a heavier subaru would have thought would wear very quickly.

What is a good compromise, for me to go for? or am i worrying unnecessarily.
