Thumbs up

You mean on the wheel drum between your alloy and the brake disc?
If so, then I can confirm that mine is exactly the same (MY97).

It's a shame really, cause they looked nice and shiney when I had my brakes done.

Exclamation

It's caused by the heat from the brakes......so not really any cure

Question

More water/muck gets on the offside perhaps? I know my car gets dirtier on the passenger side but I do tend to use back roads a lot more than major routes.

Why not paint them with caliper paint or hammerite - I did mine in about 45 mins a side - much better that having people take the **** about having a rusty old scoob!!!!!

Talking

Mine have gone like that at the back aswell, fronts were bad but I had my discs replaced

I'm thinking of painting mine back to silver at the back, good idea using hammerite, I think they do a spray aswell with a smooth finish.
Thats my Saturday morning task sorted then!
