quick advice on 18s fitting a classic

Default quick advice on 18s fitting a classic

does anyone have 18 oz prodrives on their classic ( pre face ) purchasing a set of 18s but my car has been dropped quite a bit on tein coilovers. they are adjustable but im not 100% sure how to as they came with the car

I am running 18" prodrives with 215/35/18 tyres on a 35mm drop

they were on the car when i bought it..... so not sure, doesnt seem to have any....ive been about as much help as a passing knat I know

nahh u did help got them and they fit fine without spacers or anything, even tempted to see if i can drop her a bit more, got loads of space under the arches still thanks to my teins
u keeping urs gold as im tempted to repsray them

to be honest...i love them gold, dont really care how chav some people think it looks

although thought about anthracite....even white, it looks bonkers, but different...they need refurbing soon, but i'll probably go gold again

is urs lowered at the moment then??

gold alloys on a scoob are great, gold alloys on anything else is chav city! im tempted to go black ( and never go back ) but im holding out for some inspiration.
yeah i have tein adjustables on, came with the car, but i dont know how low it has been dropped as i havent touched it since i owned the car. not 100% sure how to

read up on the suspension u have? u may be able to tweak it yourself? not much of a suspension bod me

i havent yet but i shall have a browse or even better pop to a decent garage, knowing my luck i will either break something or set the camber wrong, end up looking like the delorian in back to the future

ha, thats a cult motor! theres some good places in bristol that specialise in scoobs, not sure about swindon though ?

dont think there are any in swindon, have recently found there is one in fairford which is right next to me, gunna pop along this week there is a garage in glos that my dad goes to, father and son and the son has a skyline?

hmmm dont know where that one is, I only know of one chap with a skyline in glos, and its not him lol....spose fairford is a bit closer than bristol

our there any meets round our way? was thinking this weekend maybe....

ahhh i will fet the name off my dad when i see him next as they seem real nice n helpful, sprayed and sorted my spoiler really well.
not too sure about meets this weekend, there is a track day down at castle combe, not sure what will be there tho as a mate just told me. are u on the club-jap forums? they have a lot of local meets, think the next one is the 5th october

keep an eye out on here for scooby meets, there is one in swindon every so often but i havent been yet

Hi i have the prodrive 18 with225/40/18 toyo 888 and tein super street all i had to do was roll the arches on the rear and remove inner arch liner on the front no rubbing at all hope that help cheque out mine on profile pluss and see for yourself.JOHN
