All I need is the paint code for Speedline ST2 GOLD. I have a set of silver wheels which I'm powder-coating to gold. Spoke to Speedline direct and was given an Akzo Noble code of 7E81208, this was very helpful but Ive been to numerous paint mixing firms and the answer is the same... Eh never heard of that code, cant match to that cos we cant cross reference it.
The company Im using to powder-coat these wheels uses Akzo Noble as one of his suppliers, he rang them and they said they'd never heard of this code either.

So what Im after is a paint code or name of a colour that I can get mixed anywhere, not some Italian ref. which doesnt mean that much to anyone.

If I had a wheel it would be easy to match the colour. If anyone has a set and fancies a drive up to sunny Yorkshire Id be willing to pay expenses.

Please help me...

I live in sunny yorkshire too! My ST2's aren't in the best of condition however, but are in the original gold colour. You can have a look at mine if you want?

Hi mate, ive managed to get some original paint mixed up now. Another very helpful member got me a code and a paint sample.
