Having just spent the weekend pounding around the Nordschleife the Pagid RS 4-2 Blue seems like a good pad for track use. However, my discs then gave way (cracked) so you might find that you need to upgrade those too if you want full confidence in the package lasting the distance.

As above, Pagid blues (4.2.2. ?)are the best pad I've used, IME better than DS2500's on the same setup. The car is primarily used on the road but does half a dozon trackdays a year. The Blues don't squeal from day to day on my setup (DBA 5000 2 piece disks) but they may do with OE disks. Also single piece disks may not be up for the abuse these pads can give.

If its just the odd trackday and you've got OE disks then the Pagid blacks are probably best suited 4.2.1 I think.

Give Alyn at ASPerformace a call, describe your setup and he'll sort you out.

I have Pagid Blues on OEM discs. Very good for what i need at the moment.
But as above, i can see the need for better discs if you are into track days, etc. Or even hard driving anyway.
I have had and do get some squeel, but it is not everyday, and it is not all the time. It tends to be more if i have just sat in a traffic jam and barely used the brakes that they make a noise. Once away and driven properly the squeel disappears. All in all, to say i have them on an OEM setup, i am impressed.

Yep they tend to squeal if they haven't been used hard for a while, a couple of decent stops and its gone.

If you do 1 or 2 trackdays a year , blacks. More than that ( or more talented driver <lol> ) get the blues.

Alyn at ASPerformance is your man for these...

Well I use dirt-cheap (£30!) OMP 'Road & Track' pads which are good to 600C. Apart from a glassiness when cold they are indestructible on track. Last time I was at a track day at Cadwell Park, I was doing 10-12 laps at a time and hard on the brakes and I had not even a sniff of fade, they were totally consistent all the way through. So if you want a good and cheap option, don't rule out the OMPs.

I went from DS2500 TO DS3000 (DS3000 warped my AP discs!), then to Pagid Blues, which glazed over and where knackered after 1 track session even though there was plenty of pad, they just overcooked. I'm going back to DS2500............
