Default Brake fluid advice

Im planning to fit drilled + grooved discs and uprated pads along with braided hoses at the weekend (as long as all the parts arrive).

Just wondering what brake fluid i should be using really as not 100% sure and how much would be needed 500ml 1 ltr?

Tim

for quantity it really depends how efficient you are, we would generally use around 1ltr or less - a lot of peeps at home will use 1.5 ltrs or so..........

as for spec then for general use a good quality dot4 is fine, fast road/light track then a good spec dot5.1 and for sstained track type use thena race spec fluid

don't be misled totally by the 'dot' numbers as not all are the same..........
