Intermittent squealing
I get an intermittent squealing sound from my front nearside wheel which goes away when I apply the brakes. It seems to sound mainly after a 'spirited drive' and the brakes are cooling or have cooled. Pads are Redstuff...which appear to be fantastic once warmed-up, but on a par with 1970s era drum brakes when cold!
Strange that it's only one corner of the car, but I'm guessing this pad-related? One pad poorly aligned and has worn down?

Hi there, I've just had this problem on the back of my MY98 UK. I found it to be my inner pad had worn unevenly, guessing it must have caught on the pad locating groove thing(!) and just worn one side slightly. That's what I would check.
