Myself and Kingsize K2 have recently bought these from Barry at BN Performance for less than £1300. ( www.bnperformance.co.uk 07811 949923 or 028 6862 8774 ).

These are the real thing, the OZ Prodrives in Gold 18 x 7.5 as fitted to the UK300. He is willing to do a group buy at £1230 for 5 sets and £1180 for 10 sets, all including delivery to your door. This is with a choice of Toyo's or Eagle F1's - 225/40 for MY01/2 or 215/35 for up to MY00. He can do just about any make of tyre but this would be quoted separetly.

If you are interested then e-mail Barry at barry@bnperformance.co.uk He will co-ordinate everything himself.

Just like to point out that I am not connected with BN Performance in any way, and would just like to share the secret with everyone.

Hope this is of use to 5 or more of you.

I know this is slightly off thread but I heard that the 18" OZ as fitted to the P1 and UK300 are the wrong offset for the new UK sti, can anybody confirm this ?

Cheers

Mark,
AFAIK the only scoob with a different offset is the 22B, all the others are between 48-52mm.

Hope this helps

Yes, you guessed right the STi has a different offset to accomodate the huge brembo caliper, Prodrive will be announcing such a wheel this month

I am told there isn't enough clearance for the Brembo Brakes on the STi. Barry's supplier tells me OZ are pushing the Super L, but I'm not sure whether this fits the STi.

Subster - See you at Chesterfield, (My Wheels are going on tomorrow).

Cheers

Question

I'd be in for a set of these with Toyos on but does anyone know what the delivery costs are and even if they'll deliver? It's a bit too far for me to drive to Co. Fermanagh........

Simon,

Costs are including delivery. Mine were delivered straight from the importer and came from Glasgow.

Beastie,

No deadline has been set, but once there is 5 sets you could go ahead.

Also I sugget you check on availability. Last I heard they were waiting for a delivery as these wheels are very hard to come by at the moment.

Tony, offset of standard 22B wheel is either 45 or 48, cant remember which but one of these does fall inside your range.

Question

Hi,

i'd be interested in a set, but need them to be in silver. Can Barry do this on a group buy or do they have to be gold?

i may be interested in these, as ive dinged 2 of my 17"wheels, do they come with prodrive centre caps and the oz stickers on the rims ?, also id like 225/35 tyres to give a bit more protection for the rims than 215s. im going to email barry and ask him how much with these tyres

thanks kev
its for a p1, ive read that some people run 225 goodyears or yokos, what with the potholes down here i thought a little bit more would be better epescially as ive damaged 2 17" p1 wheels last weekend

FYI - as far as I'm know -

P1 Prodrive wheels have a different offset to the '01 WRX
And the new STi has yet another different offset to the '01 WRX.

Alex,

Didn't realise the P1 Wheel had a different offset to the MY01 WRX Wheel. There can't be much in it as they fit them to the UK300 and they are on the Subaru accessories price list.

I've clocked up about 9k miles on the standard 17" wheels and tyres, the last 5k being with Eibachs fitted. I have to say I do like the way it now handles, the ride and extra grip of the Toyo's with the 18" fitted. (I've only done a couple of hundred miles so far though).

Are any of you replacing your wheels on an STi ( Pre MY01 ) or a Terzo, the 5 spoke 16" gold alloys, if so can you let me know as I am after a set ( Without tyres and at the right price )

Cheers,

Chris
