Default Prodrive/Alcon with EBC Red Ceramic

hi all,

i have a prodrive/alcon 330mm brakes on my classic and have been using ferodo ds2500.

i'm now going to try EBC red stuff ceramic. But i'm finding a bit hard to find the exact reference of the EBC pads.

Can anyone help me?

Anyone that already uses these pads on these brakes can place here the reference of the pads.

Thanks!

Default EBC Redstuff

Sorry this is not the answer that you'll want but the EBC are a softerfeeling pad to the Ferodo DS2500 which was the prodrive/alcon standard pad, also the EBC's will eat the disc as its very agressive on the surface.

You could also try contacting either Ian Godney of Godspeed or Alyn (stockcar) of ASperformance both advertisers on this forum

thank you for your reply!

i've been searching for diferent opinions and it seems like EBC improved quite substancially this disc eating issue...

i thought i would give it a try.

the thing is that ive been talking to the EBC people and its being quite difficult to find the exact reference pads for these brake...

i was hoping to get the reference from someone that already used these pads on this brakes...

I've used both the old redstuff's and the new compound and the new one is the one that caused the most wear to the disc surface for me.
