Default Best Tyres to stop alloy scuffing?

I have the 18" prodrive pf'7 (speedline) and have over the last couple of years got my alloys increasingly scuffed and wanted to redo the alloys but thought can I then offer more protection once they are done? I current use Toyo T1r but don't find them very good protection wise.

Keeping away from curbs is a good prevention mate

Im not sure a tyre is going to stop any scuffing in a major way tbh. I just always give things a wide berth, who cares if it upsets ppl that im hal;f a ft from the curb...there not paying the 30-50 quid to have them refurbed..

Quite a few tyres have rim protectors nowadays. Goodyear and Avon do

The new Goodyear F1 asymmetric has as good a rim protector as your likely to get and is an excellent tyre..! However, as said keeping away from the kerbs in the first place is the only way to be sure..

235/40/18 Vredestein Sessanta

Although with any tyre you have to get the right fitment. 225's on 8" is asking for trouble and 235's are much better. On the other hand on a 7.5" they are great !

You would have to go some to do these in !
