Front pads?
MY54 Impreza STi is due the all important stoppping blocks changing. They are the standard subaru ones in at the min but wish to add a little more bite whats the best way to go? I fancied Green Stuff due to friends using them but apparently dont do these anymore?? What about the red stuff pads? Any suggestions please?

Hi SteveJT, Greenstuff don't work very well on Scoobs. The Redstuff pads are OK, but, something like Ferodo DS2500 will be much better. Do a search for 'Brake Pads' and read the comments and make your choice.

Hi Steve,
Don't use Greenstuff, Redstuff have very poor lifespan. Yellowstuff'R' would be the choice from the EBC range.
I'd recommend using Performance Friction Pads 'Z' compound for fast road/light track. Very good pads and only £100 a set (aztecperformance@gmail.com)
Cheers,
Bob

I've just fitted a set of red stuff ceramic pads , firstly they seem ok to me , running them in with new drilled/grooved discs at the mo , will these being ceramic have a short lifespan as the old red stuff ones do ? quite impressed though ,
