Yokohama AVS Sport?
#1
Has anyone tried the Yokohama AVS Sport in 205/50/16 against the Bridgestone S03, Eagle F1 or Toyo TS-1?
I’m about to change the cheap crap on my Terzo and the best local prices I’ve got so far are:
Toyo TS-1 £343
Yokohama AVS £376
Eagle F1 £381 (New GS D3 at £420 out in April different side wall according to HiQ)
Bridgestone S03 £460
All prices for 4 off fitted, balanced and VAT included.

Yep, tried Yoko AVS, not as good as my old SO2PP overall.
Really good in the dry but a bit crappy in the wet. Good straight line traction but laterally, breakaway was a bit sudden.
Changed to Toyo T1-S and they were much better.
Cheers

Yeah - ditto on wet perf - Yokos not rated these days on water
Same goes for certain "other" brands - seems like Bridgestone is walking away with it...
S-03PPs are doing very well on my beastie
