no, the two set-ups use totally different components

be aware that you may well also need suitable wheels for the Brembo calipers to fit as the std WRX ones don't

Hi mate

As stockcar has mentioned above, you will deffo need the discs from an STI for the Brembo calipers. I have fitted Brembo's onto my 53 plate WRX but fitted Performance Friction discs and pads at the same time.

Also, as already mentioned, I learnt the hard way about wheels, I am running proper Prodrive/OZ 18" anthracite wheels and they wouldn't fit, I have ended up using 6mm spacers for the wheel to clear the calipers!!! Not ideal.

Hope this is of some help.

HI Buffalo

The difference is the WRX discs are 295mm x 24mm , and the STi discs are 326mm x 30mm.

The STi discs also have less offset , and as the calipers are also wider , they dont fit under a lot of wheels , spoke clearance is the problem.

The rear Brembo brakes will also fit straight onto your car with the handbrake shoes we supply , the backs dont have the clearance issues the front do .

Cheers Ian

I fitted BREMBO's to my 51 Plate Bugeye Wagon and had no problems with my Prodrive PFF 7's, they fitted straight on, no spacers I did need the uprated Rear Handbrake shoes, as Ian Godney said though.

Yes the PFF's will clear , the OZ wont , a lot of 18" wheels on the classics wont clear the Brembo's , Like the P1 18's don't clear them , or the RB5 17" wheels
