Default Track / hard road use pads and discs for 2005 STi

I need some new front & rear pads and looking to upgrade the front discs as I have several Ring trips coming up and 2 days at Spa this summer excluding UK track days.

For the front I was thinking the Godspeed upgrade package for the front and DS2500 for the rear. I've been offered brand new AP Racing 6 pots for £1200 but think I'll save my money as stick with the standard Brembo's.

Any advice and opinions would be appreciated.

Can you recommend a place to buy? I've only seen them in my Demon Tweeks motorsport catalogue.

Alyn at ASPerformance 0191 4103770. If you're keen on track use go for the 01 pads.

I've just been offered Mintex M1155 front and rear for £80, can't really turn that down.

Just the discs and fluid now...

I found they glazed when used on the road, ok when warm. Just the first stop was always eek. (Note could have been revised by now as this was a good few years back 10ish lol)

It's worth having a look at the Carbotech pads (XP8's).
The Evo boys love them!!!

If your thinking of staying with the Brembo's , I can also supply you 2 piece front grooved discs in the current group buy for £300 a pair , these come with a 12 month guarantee against warping even if you do track days.

Pad wise , there are a few good makes of pads to use , for the money they dont come any better than Carbonne lorraines , These are £95 a set for the fronts , and £60 for the rears

Cheers Ian

Are these available to buy now Ian? Or do I need to wait for X amount of people to commit to buy before it goes ahead? I need them fitted and bedded in before Saturday 26th April.
