Final price call on Toyo T1-r's
I'm just about to get some new boots for the car. The old ones are death traps and need to go.
Having researched a fair bit on here, I have decided to go with the Toyo's. Used them before on 205's with good effect. Goodyears are also great but the price wins it here this time around as I need cash to spend elsewhere on the car.
So, anywhere in the Berkshire area doing deals on these tyres that you know of? I will be getting the Toyos at £329.84 fitted in Sandhurst (tyres to be bought online).
Don't ask, don't get and all that

Just found those Paradas actually. Work out about £10 cheaper than the Toyo's all in.
Think I'll steer clear of Yoko's though (unless they're the advan sort). Never did like them in the wet.

only issue I found with the Parada's is that they are CACK in the snow - absolutely brill in dry or very good in rain
..which is exactly what the reviews say, strangely enuff!

I think a lot of asymetric tread patterns are pretty bad in snow. My GSD-3's were also pretty bad.
I had a different model of Yoko's previous and just never got on with them. Good in the dry but just didn't perform in the wet. I guess I'd need to have a go in a car with the on to restore confidence

Good prices there tbh.
I went with black circles in the end but get a little discount so the price worked out to be a tenner more. At least though I get a fixed rate fitting fee rather than have to shop around. It's suprising how much the costs differ from garage to garage.
Fitting tomorrow morning.
New suspension bits arrive as well
