BINDING CALLIPER ON BUGEYE

BINDING CALLIPER ON BUGEYE
I have a bugeye wagon with the standard Subaru 4 pots up front. I was out for a long drive on the weekend, and noticed that the front offside calliper is binding. The offside wheel/calliper/disc were red hot when I felt them compared with cool items on the nearside.
On a quiet road, I tried some emergency type stops, and the car pulled fairly hard to the left. It therefore seems that little braking force is getting to the offside calliper.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to sort this? Could it be a simple case of seized pistons that could be fixed by removing the calliper and forcing the pistons back into the calliper? I've done this before on previous cars, but never on anything with ABS.
Cheers
Dave

Mine had the same problem with Subaru 4 pots.
The inside 2 pistons where both seized all the shi*e gets in them.
Take 1 pad out at a time and get somebody to press the brake while you hold a flat bar against the pistons then work them back and forward again (don’t let them come right out). I used some penetrating oil in them but clean them out with brake cleaner once they are free.
Check the other side too you will probably find they are the same.
Mine got red hot and cracked a disc in about a mile expensive blast out.
