Default New Age STi wheels

This one has probably been done to death - I have a UK Turbo 2000 running AST suspension all round and StopTech Big Brake Kit (332 * 32mm) up front.

I want to run some wheels from a new age STi, which I think are 7.5" * 17 with 53mm offset.

I have some 205/40 Toyo R888 Proxy tyres that I am going to use on them.

Question - will they fit! I know the PCD is 5 * 100mm, but dont know once fitted with tyres if they will rub etc.

Have seen lots of sets on ebay that I want to get, but dont want to buy them incase they dont fit once I have paid someone to swap the tyres out.

Does anyone have a classic shape using STi 7.5 inch wide wheels?

TBH loads !
Just make sure they are pre-2005 as the pcd goes up to 114.3mm
and they won't fit, ever.

As for tyres they should miss everything with ease !
