Default Noise when braking after changing direction

Noticed recently than when I brake for the first time when reversing, or for the first time going forward after reversing, that there's a bit of a noise from the rear. Can't really describe the noise, sounds like a sort of dull metally noise...
Any idea what this could be?

I only get it the first time I brake after changing 'direction'.. so if I reverse into a parking space I'll get it when I stop, and then also the first time I brake after I come out, but after that it is fine

Cheers

could it be the little springs that hold the pads in place just moving around?..

I get exactly the same symptom too.

If I start reversing there's a 'clunk' from the back brakes which I first press the brake pedal and then they're fine. When I then put it in first and drive off, the first press of the brakes moving forwards gets the 'clunk'.

Glad it's not just mine. Is it Brembo's ?

Cheers

No, its just the pads moving a fraction in the calipers as the load is taken from one direction of rotation to the other, not a problem.
