Bit of a strange question this..
Are there any cars/setups that use two callipers with one disk, mind was just wondering and thought I would ask if they exist?

One of the old touring cars around 1990 use to run 2 x 4 pot calipers per front disc , cant remember which one though.
If it worked they would have all done it , you would probably end up with too much braking power for the available grip , which would be even less on road tyres.
Cheers Ian

Radial disc caliper
Ford have been working on a radial Disc caliper set up for a few years, they even sucessfully raced it, on a porsche though. Several pads around the entire disc.

I had a look at my bosses Bentley Coupe, noticed that as well, top caliper looked like a 2-Pot floating caliper you find on a scooby and the bottom one was a slightly larger unit but couldn't tell what it was.
