Default faulty abs.

just got my car back from failing the mot.it failed cos the abs light did not illuminate.i checked the bulb and there wasn't one so i popped one in.no suprise the light now stays on cos the abs is obviously broke and the previous owner has tried to cover it up.is there anything i can check myself before shellin out a fortune to a garage.

Your best and cheapest thing to do first is check the wheels sensors and rotars are clean on each wheel, that the air gap is ok and that the wiring and connectors are all in good shape

cool,i'll try that.is there a fuse that i should check as well?
